Brenau University outfielder Brooke Borders was named Golden Tiger of the Week by the Brenau athletic staff on Tuesday.
Borders, a senior, had three hits and two RBIs and helped the NAIA 15th-ranked Tigers (33-6, 20-4 SSAC) move back into first place in the Southern States Athletic Conference with four wins last week.
Borders, a Cumming native, is ranked in the top 10 in the SSAC in four different categories, including first in runs scored (35), sixth in hits (46), seventh in stolen bases (10) and eighth in batting average (.377).
