The seventh-ranked Brenau University tennis team followed up its 7-2 conference win over Shorter College last Friday with a 9-0 win against 14th-ranked Lee University on Monday at the Brenau tennis courts.
The Tigers once again swept the singles competition — and also managed to sweep the doubles play — with only Eline Nagels facing a little resistance in the form of Ann Claire Butler at No 6 singles. After winning the first set tiebreaker 7-5, Nagles went on to record her sixth win in a row taking the second set 6-2.
Next up for the Golden Tigers (8-5) is Georgia College & State University on April 7.
