The Brenau University softball stayed unbeaten on the season with a doubleheader sweep of LaGrange College by scores of 10-4 and 9-0 on Sunday at Lanier Point Softball Complex.

Tori Fobb, Heidi Cranford and Brooke Bryant led the Golden Tigers in game one, each batting 3-for-4. Fobb added two doubles and Morgan Smith had three RBIs. Missy Herren picked up the win on the mound. Cassie Lassiter pitched in relief and struck out seven.

In Brenau’s five-inning win in game two, Austin Smith, Colleen Sparrow and Lassiter each went 3-for-3. Lassiter also combined with Jesse-Lynn Groves for a two-hit shutout.

Brenau plays host to Piedmont College at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
