Two Brenau University soccer players were honored for their performances in three Golden Tiger wins last week.
Goalkeeper Lisa Lesnick was named Southern States Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week and Lily Futrell was named SSAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Lesnick earned three shutouts against AUM (4-0), Columbia (2-0) and Toccoa Falls College (6-0). She had 10 total saves over the three games. Futtrell had four goals and one assist in last week’s games, including three against Toccoa Falls.
Brenau visits Berry at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
