Brenau University athletic director Mike Lochstampfor has announced the hiring of Blaire Bachman as the next Golden Tigers swim coach. Bachman graduated in 2009 from Georgia College and State University, where she organized, coached and publicized the GCSU Swim Cats Swim Club.

Bachman has been involved with Brenau since 2001, serving as a lifeguard and swim instructor, and she has also been involved with the Lanier Aquatics Swim Club on a seasonal basis since 2006.

Bachman started her collegiate swim career at University of the Cumberlands, where she was a scholastic All-American.
