Cherokee Bluff senior Timber Gaither scored 19 points with two steals and a pair of assists in a 49-38 win against Commerce on Thursday. Taliah Gaither added nine points and four rebounds for the Lady Bears (1-0), while Kaitlin Cook added eight points, three steals and four rebounds.
