Richardson signs 10-day deal with Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks signed guard Jeremy Richardson to a 10-day contract Monday, restoring their roster to 13 players after sending four to the Sacramento Kings in a trade for point guard Mike Bibby. The 6-foot-7 Richardson has played eight games this season with the Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs and 12 games with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League.

With Fort Wayne, he averaged 25.4 ppg, 6.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals.

Richardson played in five games for the Hawks last year after signing two 10-day contracts, averaging 1.6 points and 0.4 rebounds. He also played in one game for the Portland Trail Blazers in 2006-07.

In 14 career NBA games, he has 18 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals.
