ATLANTA — The Atlanta Hawks have taken Virginia power forward Mike Scott with the 43rd pick in the NBA draft.New general manager Danny Ferry opened his first draft with Atlanta by selecting Vanderbilt shooting guard John Jenkins with the No. 23 pick in the first round on Thursday night. The 23-year-old Scott averaged 18 points and 8.3 rebounds as a senior.
