FLOWERY BRANCH — The Atlanta Falcons have waived wide receiver Darius Johnson. The team announced the move Friday, just hours before players took the field for the first practice of training camp.Johnson made a surprising contribution last season after star receiver Julio Jones went down with a season-ending injury. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Johnson played in 10 games with two starts, making 22 catches for 210 yards and one touchdown.
