The Atlanta Falcons added former Georgia Southern assistant Mark Collins to the coaching staff as a defensive assistant Monday.
Collins, who served as the linebackers coach at Georgia Southern in 2006 under then-head coach and current Falcons defensive coordinator, has 11 years of college coaching experience.
Most recently, he served as a graduate assistant at Georgia, and in 2009 he was an assistant coach at the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
