Atlanta Falcons offensive guard Tyson Clabo signed his restricted free agent tender today while the team released linebacker Brock Christopher.
Clabo is entering his fourth season with the Falcons having started in 37 career games at right guard, right tackle and one contest at left guard.
Last season, he started all 16 games for the first time in his career at right tackle and was part of an offensive line that blocked for a Falcons rushing attack, which finished second in the NFL with a 152.7 yards per game average.
Clabo and the Atlanta offensive line also set a franchise record allowing a season-low 17 sacks and an average of only one sack for every 25.5 plays.
Christopher was signed by the Falcons as an undrafted free agent on April 27, 2009.
