Riverside grad drafted by Braves

Kennesaw State University infielder and Riverside Military graduate Tyler Stubblefield was drafted in the 33rd round by the Atlanta Braves on Thursday.

Stubblefield finished his junior season with a .314 batting average and led the Owls with 12 doubles.

Stubblefield, who graduated from Riverside in 2006, was a three-time All-State selection.

He left Riverside with 27 career home runs and was also an All-State selection in football at Riverside.
