HOUSTON — Injured Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones has taken more than 100 swings in early batting practice Monday, a day before he's eligible to come off the disabled list. Jones and a number of Braves took early batting practice before the start of their three-game series against the Houston Astros. Jones, who turns 40 later this month, opened the season on the disabled list following surgery March 26 to repair torn meniscus in his left knee.
