KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Atlanta Braves minor league manager Luis Salazar has undergone surgery and was scheduled for more after being hit in the face by Brian McCann's foul liner while standing in the dugout during an exhibition game.

Salazar was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center after getting hit Wednesday.

Braves spokesman Brad Hainje said Thursday that Salazar underwent surgery Wednesday night and "he's having more surgery today."

Hainje said "it may be another day or two before we have final clarification on everything they had to do."

Braves general manager Frank Wren said Salazar may have sustained a concussion and might have a facial fracture and damage around his left eye.
