Tae Turner’s five touchdowns powered Lakeview Academy to its first region win in school history, a 38-3 victory over Providence Christian on Friday at Jock Hornor Field in Gainesville.

Jack Perkins finished off scoring for the Lions with a 27-yard field goal. Avontae Gober had an interception for Lakeview Academy (1-3, 1-1 Region 8-A), and Will Drury recovered a fumble to keep the momentu going to the Lions.

Lakeview Academy plays host to Hebron Christian Academy next Friday.
