A big night by senior running back Trevae Cain led Banks County to a 52-28 victory over Fannin County Friday night at Leopard Stadium in Homer.
Cain had 27 carries for 270 rushing yards and four touchdowns to lead the Leopards' offense.
Cain also had 30 receiving yards and a touchdown with a forced fumble and fumble recovery on defense.
Leopards senior Zez Steeple had seven carries for 107 yards and a touchdown, and junior quarterback Griffin Goodwin passed for two scores. Senior linebacker Logan Hubbard had double-digit tackles and an interception on defense.
Banks County led 17-14 at the half and was able to force three straight Fannin punts in the third quarter, scoring on each possession to extend the lead to 31-14 heading into the fourth.
The Leopards had 450 yards of total offense.
Banks County (4-2, 1-1 Region 7-AAA) is off next week and is host to Lumpkin County in two weeks.
