Around the country on Wednesday, high school football players were finally able to put pen to paper and make their college decisions official by signing letters of intent.

Below is a list of local players who signed:

  • West Hall High School’s Blake Manning signed a letter of intent to play college football for Stetson University. Pictured are (seated, left to right) father Matt Manning, Blake Manning, mother Heather Nevius, (standing, left to right) West Hall principal Greg Williams, West Hall athletic director Scott Justus, stepmother Susan Manning, grandmother Barbara Manning, stepfather Tim Nevius, and West Hall football coach Tony Lotti.

  • Nine players from Gainesville High signed letters of intent Wednesday. They are, from left:  Tray Harrison (West Georgia Tech); Caleb Hayman (University of South Alabama); Connor Calvert (West Georgia University); Damian Grayson (West Georgia Tech); Michael Pittman (West Georgia Tech); Fred Payne (Western Carolina University); Lahius Leverette  (West Georgia Tech); Quamon Peoples (West Georgia Tech); and TK Mize  (West Georgia Tech).

  • North Hall High School announced the signing of senior Avery Easton with LibertyUniversity on a football scholarship. Pictured, back from left: principal  Joe Gheesling, coach Tony Wagner and athletic director Harold Daniels. Front, from left:  Mark Easton (father), Avery Easton, Pam Easton (mother) and Evan Easton (brother).
