Late touchdown, 2-point conversion lifts Lakeview over Providence 8-7

A late score lifted Lakeview Academy to its second win of the season Friday night, 8-7 over Providence Christian in Lithonia.

Lakeview senior Avonte’ Gober scored the game-winning touchdown and ensuing two-point conversion with 55 seconds left in the game to win it.

Lakeview Academy (2-2, 1-1 Region 8-A) visits Hebron Christian 7:30 p.m. next Friday.
