Flowery Branch creeps up to No. 7

Flowery Branch inched up one more spot to No. 7 in Class AAAA in this week’s Georgia Prep Football Poll, conducted by The Associated Press.

The Falcons (4-0, 4-0 Region 8-AAAA) defeated Cedar Shoals 50-15 last week and have now scored 102 points in their last two games. They’ll play host to Rockdale County (2-2, 2-2) this week.

Buford is the only other area team in the top 10, and remains at No. 2 in Class AA. The Wolves (3-1, 0-0 Region 6A-AA) defeated Therrell last week 33-6 and will travel to take on No. 9 Lovett (2-1, 0-0 Region 6B-AA) on Friday.
