Dawson County earns 1st win, tops Franklin County 25-7

Dawson County picked up its first win of 2014, knocking off Franklin County 25-7 on Friday night in Carnesville.

The Tigers forced five turnovers. Andrew Goley tallied 151 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries for the Tigers. Dylan Nix led the Dawson County defense with a 47-yard touchdown on a fumble recovery and an interception.

Dawson County (1-5, 1-2 Region 7-AAA) looks to keep momentum going as it plays host to Fannin County next Friday in Dawsonville.
