George Walton Academy defeated Commerce 24-14 on Friday night in Monroe.
The Tigers allowed 17 unanswered points after going ahead 7-0 in the first quarter.
Cody Streetman scored in the first quarter to put Commerce ahead until George Walton's Hunter Rice hit Nick Watters on an 11-yard touchdown pass. The game was tied at the half.
The Bulldogs fumbled on the Commerce 4-yard line and recoverd the ball in the end zone to take a 14-7 adavantage into the fourth quarter.
After a 30-yard George Walton field goal, Tyler Jarvis scored on a 26-yard touchdown run for the Bulldogs.
Streetman added another 3-yard touchdown run with 3:40 remaining in the game. He finished with 76 yards on 18 carries and was 6 of 12 passing for 110 yards and 2 interceptions.
Commerce (3-6, 2-3 8-A) will host Social Circle on Friday.
