Buford avenges '09 loss, routs Lovett 37-14

With 488 yards rushing, the Class AA's No. 2-ranked Buford avenged their only loss a from a year ago Friday, beating Lovett 37-14 at Memorial Stadium in Atlanta.

The Wolves rushed for 205 yards in the first quarter alone and took a 20-14 lead into half time.

Buford broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring Lovett 17-0.

The Wolves (4-1, 0-0 Region 6A-AA) open subregion play when they visit Decatur at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
