Courtesy, helpfulness and friendliness are what I've experienced when commuting by way of the Red Rabbit Transit System here in Gainesville.

The buses are always prompt at their estimated times of departure and arrival. This portrays dependability on getting one to and from their destinations on time.

The rides are comfortable and pleasurable. The drivers are the best. They greet passengers and are extremely helpful by radioing the transfer bus to confirm they have a passengers for them.

It gives one a sense of security of not having to worry about missing a transfer. The people who answer the phones are another valued asset, as their personalities are informative, polite, helpful and courteous.

They also give back into the community because every first Friday of every month, the already reasonable fares are free. Students even get to ride at 50 percent off their fares.

All this amazing service has to come all the way down from great management.

So, thumbs up to The Red Rabbit Transit System for a job well done. Many thanks from all of us.
