I would like to compliment The Times for carrying Joan King's articles. She is by far one of the most intelligent, astute individuals it has ever been my privilege to read. And she is one of us, living in our beautiful area.

I urge all who read your paper to always read Joan King. She always has a marvelous way of nailing down our problems and even offering solutions. She is MUST reading.

We don't need another car lot in Hall County
Thompson Bridge Road will become a magnet for used car lots if Greg Sexton gets the zoning change he has requested. Building owners are looking for ways to generate income during this downturn, but a used car lot across from Mountain View Drive is not the answer.

Opening this door would lead the way for others and a devaluation of nearby properties will follow.
Look at Browns Bridge Road if you want to see the future if this zoning is passed.
