Words cannot express our gratitude for the amazing service performed by the Hall County Sheriff's Department Honor Guard at Lt. Arthur W. Jetton's funeral and burial on Wednesday.

A sincere thank you goes out to entire Hall County Sheriff's Department, both present and past officers who were part of the service to celebrate the life of one of your own. We are also grateful to the public safety officers in Gainesville, as well as the surrounding counties who participated in honoring our beloved husband, father and grandfather.

Art's effort and dedication to his profession over the years was perfectly reflected in the way you chose to honor him. The heartwarming service performed at First Presbyterian Church by the Revs. Paul Evans and Shon Peppers exemplified Art's life as a "good and faithful servant."

The Gainesville community meant so much to him, and your reciprocated love and respect was unmistakable. Please know that each and every visit, phone call, card and hug has not gone unnoticed. We are so proud of our "lion chaser" and his service to others.

Thank you for supporting us on this journey of healing. We know Art Jetton's legacy will live on forever.
