How can we understand our commander in chief’s complete refusal to describe terrorists accurately as Islamic radicals instead of just “extremists” or terrorist acts in America as “workplace violence” and his refusal to acknowledge their real threat to the world?

Recently, in a speech, Obama first said “our objective is clear, and that is: Degrade and destroy ISIL so that it’s no longer a threat.” Pressed on whether he was talking about the elimination of the Islamic State, Obama suggested he was seeking instead to limit the group’s reach. He said that his goal was to ensure it is not an ongoing threat to the region, and that the group will be degraded to the point where it is a manageable problem.

Is it really possible to manage those whose main goal is to eliminate you? Consider what these terrorists recently said about what their “holy” writings have to say about using weapons of mass destruction: In a 26-page Islamic ruling on the justification and use of weapons of mass destruction, it states that “if Muslims cannot defeat the kafir (unbelievers) in a different way, it is permissible to use weapons of mass destruction even if it kills all of them and wipes them and their descendents off the face of the earth.”

Is it possible to manage these types of barbarians? How can Obama continue to minimize and ignore these obvious threats to our national security? How long can he ignore his own military and intelligence advisers before we have another 9/11?
