On behalf of the Gainesville-Hall County Meals on Wheels program, I would like to thank Hall County Commission Chairman Richard Mecum, Commissioner Jeff Stowe and Gainesville Mayor Danny Dunagan for their recent participation in the delivery of a meal and hope to homebound seniors in Gainesville and Hall County. This May marks our country’s 51st Annual Older Americans Month. As a nation, we have committed to commemorating our seniors for the great contributions they have made to our communities, and to raise awareness about the challenges millions of them are facing.
