I am curious to know how a main road like McEver Road can be closed for such an extended period of time? We live off Jim Crow Road so we have been taking the detour like everyone else since the heavy rains last month caused the washout. In your paper this week, it was stated that a contract was just given “this week” by Oakwood and that the repairs would not be complete until August.
