On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to offer condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of Attorney Joe B. Sartain Jr. of Gainesville on his recent passing. During his distinguished career of more than 45 years, Sartain was a respected leader in the legal profession, serving as chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia. He was honored with the section’s Distinguished Service Award in 2004.
