I would like to commend the artist and Mr. Belk for the beautiful lady that now lies in repose at the corner of Green and Academy streets. She looks like she is “at home.” This corner has long been a beautiful site, back to the days of the maple tree that graced this corner with its magnificent golden fall leaves.
