Nov. 1 is the day the state of Georgia has set aside to honor retired educators.

These individuals have dedicated years of service to our community and continue to do so.  They have impacted so many lives over the years and continue working with projects for the betterment of our community in Georgia Retired Educators Association and other organizations in our area.

Nov. 1 is the day for you to express your appreciation to a special teacher who may have helped you along the way.
