I find it very interesting Commissioner Billy Powell portrays the attitude that if we cannot increase taxes, than we can fix those who impose it by cutting out things of theirs. Notice that the commissioners were not willing to take a cut in pay to help out.
I agree that they feel they are no more important than the sheriff's department and it will come back to bite them. Pride is evil and so is Powell with his thinking and manipulating things so that it does not affect him.
I say cut the pay of the commissioners.
