Congratulations to Jackson EMC for returning $4.75 million to its customers. Hoorah, hoorah, for private enterprise.
How much has the Gainesville water department returned to its customers? What about Georgia Power? Are you getting my drift, readers?
Private enterprise is where it is at, not in the greedy hands of public utilities or county commissioners who now want another 1 percent sales tax. That will make it a total of 8 percent, folks.
Start speaking up and voice your opinions; maybe some tax hogs will listen.
