Letter: Robert Mueller’s report is good news

After two years of being lionized by the Democrats, Robert Mueller found no Trump-Russia collusions, so now Mueller is in the doghouse.

Even though the Dems circled their wagons on the wrong side of history, they are proclaiming that the battle has just begun — so I suppose their political strategy going forward will be to double down on their current strategy of bellowing with rage and lighting their hair on fire.

Thanks in large part to media manipulation of the masses, our country has become deeply divided — yet many Americans continue to believe someone with an innate ability to cajole people into embracing a broader range of political views will suddenly appear and bring everyone together.

That sort of wishful thinking was not too far-fetched back when there wasn’t a dime’s worth of difference between Democrats and Republicans, but the era of political homogeneity has come and gone.

Since compromise has become a dirty word, and we cannot agree on something as simple as the size of an ammo clip, why does anyone believe we can agree on how to handle major issues such as climate change or the southern border?

As far as I can tell, the big news coming out of the Mueller report is good news for the Trump administration and America. It is hard to overstate how positive of an impact this will have on the president’s 2020 campaign. In any case, while liberal heads continue to explode at an unprecedented rate, I will be spending the next six years relaxing and watching President Trump keep America Great. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
