Letter: Hall officials should take victims’ rights more seriously

I planned on going to the Victims Rights Ceremony. After being hit head on by an underage drunken driver in 2015, my rights were never protected while the case was settled with little regard to how it would affect my life. I have lost everything, including my health, job, car, home and sense of independence.
