Recently, The Times has been looking for people who have had difficulty with getting health care. The Medicare for All solution won’t work. As with all socialist programs, the money has to come from somewhere.
As outlined in a Yahoo! Finance column by Rick Newman, the only solution would be a 42% national sales tax. You simply won’t be able to pay for such a program by taxing the extra rich. The trouble with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.
The socialists that protest today, don't work. So, they will never see the problem in an oppressive income tax. This is why such ideas appeal to them. Deadbeats never see the flaw in such logic. The question then is, where is the advocate for the taxpayer?
