Opinion: Doug Collins is a bad combo of ignorant, arrogant

It would be difficult to find anything more disturbing than ignorance enhanced by arrogance. "Representative" Doug Collins did exactly what is appropriate to do on Fox News — he displayed his ignorance arrogantly.

He identifies me, a lifelong Democrat, as "being in love with terrorists." He could investigate long and hard and would not find anyone I have terrorized or murdered or anyone I love who has. He, however, causes death and destruction daily with his political philosophy. His position on regulation and control of weapons results in an enormous number of violent American deaths each day. His position on climate change is causing an increasing amount of international destruction and death and is jeopardizing the future of humanity. His support for a traitorous criminal president identifies Mr. Collins as exactly what he is, a mercenary.

Ignorance enhanced by arrogance makes for poor leadership. Mr. Collins has a great deal to learn and probably does not have the ability to learn what is needed so he can provide good leadership.
