It is interesting how members of the left have begun to reference their religious beliefs in the political arena. It appears to be their "hail Mary pass" to try to win voters whom they perceive as being influenced by their religion when deciding for whom to vote. Speaker Pelosi is one example of this and so is Carmen Allen, whose letter appeared in The Times.
