The next ice age began four years ago, according to Science Direct. That is why I was surprised to see letters, from Joan King and from Vernon Dixon in the Jan. 19 edition that describe their great fear of man-made carbon dioxide in Earth’s atmosphere causing “climate change.” I reckon they fear “global warming.”
