Letter: Accusations against judge aim to further delay process

With reference to the charges made by Ms. Christine Blasey Ford against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, “she should be heard” is all we have heard for the last three days.

What we heard from Ms. Ford on Wednesday morning is that she won’t speak to the Senate committee handling the nomination. Testifying under oath seems to be a problem.

Further, several news outlets report Sen. Dianne Feinstein is now claiming that not all Ms. Ford is saying is the truth. It seems that Ms. Ford does not know where the alleged incident took place, when it took place and how many people were there.

Ms. Ford wants a full investigation by the FBI. If this incident took place, the local police are the only agency that can investigate. The FBI will not fill in the blanks for Ms. Ford.

This can only be a delaying tactic in confirming a new Supreme Court justice and the longer the GOP allows it, the sorrier gang of elected officials they are.
