I believe in global warming and climate change, but not the misinformation and garbage, people such as President Barack Obama and Al Gore dump on us.
Global warming and global cooling have been around for millions of years. So has climate change. First, global temperature went down over 20 million years ago. The ice age came and ice covered a large area north of the equator. About 20 million years ago the global temperature rose and the ice receded.
Without research, I don’t recall continents south of the equator being involved. The average global temperature has risen about 1 degree in the last 165 years. It may rise about 1 degree further in the next hundred years if the warming cooling cycle continues.
Climate change is all together different from global warming. This is not what we are being told. Climate change affects more or less limited areas. Remember the potato famine in Ireland in the 1800s? This was locale climate change. Winters lasted much longer for several years in Europe several centuries ago. In order to avoid starvation, they grew root crops. Today, above-ground wheat and vegetables are again grown there.
In the last 17 years, the North Georgia climate has seen hot dry summers and cool wet summers. This was not global, but local. California has experience very dry weather for several years, but the rain has come and reservoirs are filling.
My point is that we humans are not in charge of the weather. Only the sovereign God is. Those in power, the Obamas and the Gores and others, will try breaking us, but they will not be affected or effective. The recent summit in Paris will have a quick death. Do you think the many countries signing the agreement will really march in step for long?
These people will not give us facts. They say science says this. They also said Darwin’s theory of evolution is fact. Darwin’s theory has been blown out of the water by science, in the laboratory and in the field. These people hot to do something about the weather are treating us like mushrooms, keeping us in the dark and feeding us fertilizer.
