Photographer Scott Rogers is a consummate professional.

His photos of the Memorial Day Parade were exceptional. He obviously knows his community and how to cover an event and capture the essence.

I should know because as a longtime professional photographer, I do what he does in Miami.

His photos spoke more than a thousand words. He is a credit to photojournalism and The Times.
