Letter: Gainesville Public Works acted quickly to fix water main break

I just can’t thank the Gainesville Public Works Department enough for its efficient, timely and competent handling of the water main break on Nov. 28.

This happened during the huge home fire on Shoreline Drive. Calls were returned promptly and assistance provided to those who sustained water line damage to our home from this tragic event.

Gainesville residents should be very proud of how city takes care of us. Special thanks go to the Human Resources and the Water Meter departments.
