Letter: Ethanol fuel subsidies show why nation needs better leadership

I read this headline,”FEMA contractor predicts ‘social unrest’ caused by 395 percent food price spikes.” I then remembered we use over a third of our corn crop to power out cars. To make it worse, as taxpayers we subsidize the ethanol producers nearly 50 cents a gallon.

We need better leaders in Washington. In general, I vote against incumbents. After seven years of Barack Obama, we have had lots of change. Sadly, we need improvement more than ever. If elected, Hillary Cointon will be more of the same.
