Authorities believe one person may have been ejected after a three-car wreck Thursday afternoon, April 26, on Thompson Bridge Road at High Vista Pointe.

Gainesville Police Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said three vehicles were involved in the crash, and four people were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. A man was in critical condition, and all others were stable, Holbrook said.

Holbrook said the crash involved a pickup truck, a Jeep and a two-door coupe.

“The preliminary investigation looks … (like) the pickup truck was northbound, crossed the centerline and struck the other two vehicles,” Holbrook said.

The man driving the pickup truck was transported in critical condition to the hospital. The Jeep had two people inside, and the coupe driver was alone, Holbrook said.

Police did not release any further information on injuries or identities.

The roadway reopened around 6 p.m. Thursday.
