Hall County investigators were working Sunday to identify a woman whose body was found floating earlier in the day in Lake Lanier Fishermen originally found the body and reported it to authorities about 11:30 a.m., Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Nicole Bailes said. The body was later pulled from the lake near the Dawsonville Highway/Ga. 53 bridge on the Chattahoochee River, she said. A Hall County Fire Services marine rescue boat helped in the effort.
