A 56-year-old woman has been airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital with second-degree and third-degree burns to 30 percent of her body following a house fire in South Hall County on Monday night.

Hall County Fire Services responded to the residential fire at a 2,000-square-foot home in the 3600 block of Osborn Road in Flowery Branch and was advised of an occupant who had been burned. She was found outside as smoke was showing from the basement, and Hall Fire Services’ ambulance crew attended to her while the department battled the fire.

Hall Fire Services Capt. Zachary Brackett said the cause and origin of the fire are undetermined.

At least one other person was at the house at the time of the fire, Brackett said, but no other injuries were reported.
