An employee at a White Sulphur Road gas station is accused of taking roughly $6,000 in lottery tickets, according to authorities.

Rachel Ann Grose, 23, of Princeton, West Virginia, is charged with felony theft by taking. She was booked Thursday in to the Hall County Jail, where she is being held on a $5,700 bond.

Hall County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Scott Ware said Grose reportedly took the tickets May 1 from the White Sulphur Road BP store.

Ware said Grose left the state before returning to Hall County.
