Winter weather closings, schedule changes

Here are schedule changes related to the winter weather as provided to The Times:

Schools

• Hall County Schools, all Saturday activities canceled.

• Forsyth County schools, all after-school activities and athletics canceled through Sunday; does not include after-school child care programs at schools. 

Government services

• Frances Meadows Center, two-hour delayed opening at 10 a.m.; other Gainesville Parks and Recreation facilities open as scheduled for events

• Hall County compactor sites, parks, community centers, libraries and landfill closed Saturday. All ballgames scheduled at community centers canceled.

• Georgia Department of Labor, all offices in North Georgia closed.

• Forsyth County, all offices and facilities closed Saturday and Sunday

Businesses, other

• Georgia Mountains YMCA, J.A. Walters Family YMCA to open at 1 p.m. Saturday; all basketball games canceled for Saturday

• The Longstreet Clinic, Comprehensive Care and Pediatrics Extended After Hours in Gainesville, closed Saturday
