If you’re not on Facebook, you know someone who is — well, you probably know a lot of people who are.Facebook had 901 million monthly active users at the end of March, according to company information listed on the social media site. The site has become part of the daily lives of many in Northeast Georgia, and they’re not just students. Whether it’s sharing photos of your kids, pithy thoughts about your day or that funny video another friend posted, the experience has garnered Facebook a huge following. But the site has its detractors, too. Some are just not attracted to sharing so much about their lives or would prefer to do that sharing face to face.Today, the company’s stock is expected to begin trading, a big move for the site that was founded in 2004 as a place for college students to connect with their peers. What about you?
